The reason why you haven't seen a posting from me for several weeks is that I've been trying to get the Tuesday morning plenary session of #DR16 transcribed, the one with Fr James Mallon and Ron Huntley, all 70 minutes of it.
The good news is that the transcription is complete (Yay!) but it is taking a long time to type up and I estimate there's at least 4 hours of it to go - which means that it is still a week away (or more) from being finished. But it's on the way, and I promise you that it is worth the wait.
There have been other things going on behind the scenes too.
After a wait of some 5 years, I was finally able to get the time to work on trying to find a missing niece for an elderly relative. There's far more to that story, but contact has been made, and the ball is now in the niece's court. (a few extra prayers wouldn't go astray on that matter).
After an even longer wait, and far more work, my son's novel is finally in the CreateSpace pipeline, and an author copy to proof read has begun its journey to us. There's still work to be done to get the kindle version ready for upload, but the light at the end of that tunnel can be seen.
So there are some significant breakthroughs beginning to happen for us, which we are very grateful to God for, even though we still await greater ones.
The moral of the story: the merciful goodness of the Lord is not exhausted, and if we continue to pray, hope, do our part, and don't worry too much, we can look forward to seeing those greater things happen.
